Zendot Turns Two, No Tantrums, Please, We're Buddhist

Two years ago today, we wrote my initial post upon blogger. we was dipping my toe in to a cyber ink pot (now that's better than ambidextrous, do not you think?). we had posted a small art upon etsy as well as a etsy tips referred to a blog was a good thing. Sure because not. we didn't have a transparent thought of where we was starting though we pulled upon my blogger boots as well as headed off down a trail, posting my initial square of art called "Post Apocalyptic Buddhist Graffiti" Three passions bumped in to any other upon a trail, my adore of writing, exploring a Dharma as well as art. Here was a place they could cling to out together, meet, shake up hands, have a coffee, do a hokey pokey, anything within a bounds of reasonably good taste. It didn't unequivocally make a difference if anyone review what fell in a blogger forest, we was balancing precariously upon a small cyber soap box. It felt similar to a bizarre brew of offering as well as opportunity.

It has been an engaging journey, infrequently with many consecutive days of disciplined writing (100 days of Dharma) as well as as a personal challenge, 30 days of art. At a small point we motionless we didn't wish to post bland only for a sake of posting. we longed for to write when something in my hold up or upon my thoughts beckoned me to a page.

I found Dharma friends along a way as well as blogs which resonated with me, bloggers filled with knowledge as well as passion who offered sips as well as low drinks from their wells. My Dharma has regularly been about a koan of bland life, not so most what we find in books or scriptures. It has been my target to share my hold up with a small transparency but being as well most of a Zen Soap Opera. we try to change a suffering with a small joy as well as find a Charlie Chaplin in a suffering. Irreverence as well as giddiness have been critical qualit! ies to m e as well as we try to bake a small in to any collection of Dharma biscuits.

The small paper doll Buddhas in a picture above have been pity a coffee list with a book called "Pain Free" (it's written by a physiotherapist, no Dharma intended) though it struck me which mostly that's what we're up to, trying to shun from our pain, whatever it competence be. we have been learning which suffering is a small similar to a monsters in nightmares, you've only got to spin around as well as demeanour them in a eye. we have been learning which there is so most benevolence as well as knowledge in a darkness, in a pain. It is full as well as developed as well as only what you need. You only have to sense how to gleam a small bike light from your Christmas stocking upon it as well as find a hidden treasures.

That initial Dec 30th, 2008 blog post contained these words from a Dalai Lama:

"Every day, consider as you arise up, currently we am fortunate to have woken up. we am alive. we have a changed tellurian life. we am not starting to waste it. we am starting to use all my energies to develop myself, to enhance my heart out to others, to achieve enlightenment for a good of all beings. we am starting to have kind thougths towards others. we am not starting to get angry or consider badly about others. we am starting to good others as most as we can."

What more can we ask for unequivocally to arise up any day with a target to "wake up"?
