There continues to be a lot of discussion surrounding the scope and events of the recent Maha Buddhist Council held at the Garrison Institute in New York. As an off shoot, another discussion has started up again around Buddhism and "niceness," represented by these two posts. I have left a few comments on posts about the council, but to be honest, neither of these issues sparks me enough to write
