Vows and Those Who Live Them

Well, a roof tiles finally fell in upon our beautiful autumn here in Minnesota. We woke to a sweeping of wet, complicated snow, sufficient to force me off a bicycle - for now anyway. There's impermanence for you.

I have a couple of posts upon other blogs to bring your courtesy to. Seems similar to a thesis lately, eh?

Over during Life as a Human, a webzine we write a mainstay for, we have a short square upon Thomas Merton as well as a regretful relationship he had towards a finish of his life. It's an expanded version of an old post we had upon here since we satisfied what we was many meddlesome in is how vows play out in a lives of those who take them.

Along these lines, we posted a new poem over during my beautiful essay blog about - vows. we tend not to "explain" a beautiful work we do much, though we will say which this poem is about both intentional vows, as well as unintended vows. Do with which what you will.

Finally, I'm happy to listen to which a lady who took a vouch to assistance acquit her nation, Aung San Suu Kyi, was freed today. It's hard to know what this will mean in a end, or even how long it will last. But maybe this is a commencement of real shift in Burma. May it be so.
